Distinguished members of the Summit committee,

In the course of moving round this our state, I came across a whole lots of natural endowment we are gifted by the Heavenly Father but due to our past and present administrators' incensitivities and negligence on the part of the citizenry, we failed to explore all what we have to our fullest advantage as a state and even individually.

I want to mention some places and activities available in these areas:

1. Esa-Odo dam: for fishing, irrigated farming and water generation. Pipe borne water supply in Esa-Odo and its environ in the '80s was very regular, but not anymore.

2. Odeomu: This community plants the SWEETEST pineapple in Nigeria and very big one as well. They have very vast unused landmass. This could be used to this state's advantage.

3. There are some communities in Atakumosa East local govt. They have some land in dispute with Ondo state, these communities have pineapple as well and cocoa. The last time I was there, they complained about negligence by the Osun state government. There's a community in this area that's more of people from Iragbiji (An Iragbiji man is even the baale)

4. Iwo local government has so many rural areas where watermelon is being planted.

Its only in Nigeria that we don't appreciate what we have. Malaysia took palm samples to their country in the 80's, now I'm sure all of us know the dividends the country derives from palm oil as we speak today. We have so many potentials that can't be mentioned right now but in due course.

Thanks all for giving me the opportunity to serve the house of highly intelligent people - NATION BUILDERs in my little capacity. I feel so honoured.

Best regards,
Taoufiq Olawale Olagunju
